Education Program

(TLC LEARNING ACADEMY) will us a blended curriculum and best practices in the classroom, Art projects. music, storytelling, math, literacy, science experiments, social emotional development and physical development will be included in the curriculum, We realize that all children work and learn at their own pace. This learning will be guided and monitored by your child’s teachers.

Our History

TLC Learning Academy was founded in 1998 by a group of passionate educators who shared a common vision: to create a nurturing learning environment where every child could thrive and reach their full potential. Inspired by the belief that education should be inclusive, holistic, and tailored to individual needs, the founders set out to establish an institution that would provide not only academic excellence but also emotional support and character development.

In its humble beginnings, TLC Learning Academy started as a small preschool with just a handful of students. However, word quickly spread about its innovative approach to early childhood education, characterized by small class sizes, hands-on learning experiences, and a focus on social-emotional development. Parents were drawn to the warm and inviting atmosphere, where their children felt valued, respected, and encouraged to explore their interests.

As TLC Learning Academy looks to the future, it remains dedicated to its founding principles of providing Tender Loving Care (TLC) to every student and fostering a culture of excellence, inclusion, and innovation in education.

Kind Words From Parents

TLC Learning Academy is a place where you as a parent would want to send your child. They have wonderful staff members and the Owner, Shellia Jackson, loves her babies unconditionally. The kids there receive excellent care while parents are at work. This Academy works with a parents schedule from drop off in the morning to pick up in the evenings. Once you walk into this place of business, you will feel the warmth and comfort from the staff members. And let’s not forget, the children there, LOVE Mrs. Jackson, whole heartedly. TLC also has an amazing success rate with preparing preschool children into transitioning to Kindergarten!

Amazing staff! They really care about the kids and do what's best for them at all times.

TLC Learning academy 1&2 is a great school. My daughter goes here. The staff is excellent, my daughter feels right at home. I highly recommend anyone to send their children to this school.
